  • This is simply the most lovely song and video. North and South has the two most incredible actors who gave the most magnetic portrayal of this wonderful love story.

The ending in my opinion surpasses anything that I've seen, even better than Elisabeth and Mr Darcy.

  • RIP Clifford T. Ward -one of England's greatest songwirters of all time.

Very good production - I would recommend a search for some more of Clifford's songs..

A genius taken at such an early age.

One of the brightest stars in the world of music faded when he passed away.

    Love and peace..

  • i really missed this program. how i wish season 2 comes out . this time the story will evolve on John and Margaret.

  • wow...what a songwriter he was..not heard his stuff since the 70's...still sounds fresh - true class always does..

  • She said no and went away If I only had a song to play Perhaps she would have stayed and yet I sing one now and so it seems to heal my soul and mend my dreams I'll sing it when I see her then In dungeon deep or castle keep a pauper or a king to meet “Eye hath not seen" or so they say and Heaven is but a dream away and so we strive and still we stray when we fall here below we play a sweet song at the end of the day eye hath not seen For Heaven is but a dream away
  • "Eye hath not seen" and so they say

    Heaven is on another day

we all strive to go that way

tho we fall here below we play

a kind song at the end of the day

    for eye hath not seen

Heaven is but a dream away

  • She said no and went away

If only I had this song to play

    Perhaps she wouldn't have gone

and yet I sing it now and it seems

to heal my soul and mend my dreams

I'll sing it when I see her when

on city street or castle keep

a pauper or a king to meet
