  • May I offer a little history?

The New Zealand Combined Army Band was invited as a guest of the Australian Military Tattoo of 1988.....celebrating 200 years of tradition.

This band, without a doubt, the knockout of the whole show. No other military band had ever tried something as irreverent and remained hard core at the same time.

This clip shows a whole new tradition back in 1988 that the New Zealand Army Band is now famous for.

Just enjoy you have seen the first attempts at a great idea.

  • An excellent trip that holds a lot of memories

  • This is amazing!!! I was there with the US 25th Infantry Division Band. We all stayed at an Australian base with all the other bands. What scene that was! I played in jam sessions with some of these guys at the enlisted club after hours. This is priceless, thank you so much for posting it. It brings back a lot of great memories!
