YWEA 2010 "The Disposable Ones".mpg

For almost 50 years the ministry of Youth World Evangelism Action (YWEA) has helped to spread the gospel around the world. This ministry has helped to establish churches, Bible Schools and Ministry Training Centers on almost every continent of the globe.
South Georgia is making a difference around the world through YWEA. Since 1962, we have raised over 1.2 million dollars for the world harvest. Our project YWEA 2010 is Nogales, Mexico and Bogota, Colombia.
YWEA 2010 Nogales, will provide funds to help provide housing and food to some of the thousands of displaced orphan children of Mexico. Children as young as 10, called "Tunnel Rats" live in the miles of concrete storm channels that run beneath the border between Nogales, Mexica and Arizona. They choose to live there to hide from the gangs and drug cartels that force them into illegal smuggling or prostitution.
YWEA 2010 Bogota, will go to help provide a "safe haven" for the 67% of children between the ages of 5-9 years affected by poverty. The children of Bogota are called "The Disposable Ones". Unspeakable acts occur under the guise of "social cleansing" campaigns, where many of these children are murdered just to clean up the streets. Death squads carry out this unbelievable act. Children are kidnapped by cartels that buy and sell human organs. The fear of death forces these children into the sewers to try and find safety.
One of the worst problems for the children of Nogales and Bogota is that there is a lack of hope. Your support of the 2nd Annual YWEA Golf Tournament can change that.
