He is absolutely chilling. And the orchestra sounds amazing...the drum roll before he begins should be added in all productions.

I agree. Sadly its only done in Japan. they use deep base or kettledrums for many dramatic parts of this production. If you haven't picked up a Japanese cast recording. You should.
(I personally suggest the one with Kiyotaka Imai as The Phantom)
