Bob Schieffer Sounds Off about Lying Politicians.

When mild-mannered Bob Schieffer sounds this P.O.'d, you know things are bad.

One memorable quote is: "'I don't remember' has never been much of an argument, either to my mother or to Congress." (Damn: Alberto Gonzalez was going to try it on his mom, too.)
Also nice is: "If there is one thing American's won't tolerate it's lying by those who hold positions of trust--which is why we call them 'position of trust.'"

Phew! I thought he was talking about the President until he added that "positions of trust" thing.

The funny thing is peo[ple will run to the voting boothes and vote for who they think is the best like they were given a choice but in all reality the wealthy control this country as they do with many others there is no choice they all do what they are told to do by the wealthy that own them.

In 1868 the House of Representatives impeached Andrew Johnson due to his views on the south and the Confederates, but he was acquitted by a single vote.

Everyone lies. The bottom line the more money someone has usually keeps them above the law. I was born 1957. The only President kicked out of office was J.F.K. And the only reason he was is because he was assassinated. He was a liar also.

He's wrong about Americans not tolerating lying politicians. Americans LOVE lying politicians. That's how conservatives keep getting elected.
