Technically yes but a stock 400 crank wont fit a 350 block. The mains have to be cut down for a 350 block. Thats why I called it a 383 crank because you can order a 3.75 stroke grown for 350 or 400 mains now days

is it 500 on the dyno or is that just what the engines "SUPPOSED" to put out?

$7,200 was the cost for my turn key motor tax incl. out the door and shipped. I paid to have it built.

Here is that word again strapped for cash. Everyone is on a budget and looking for the most bang for the buck hp. It all depends on what & how you are going to put that 383 to use or any motor for that matter. If u do it yourself or pay someone to do it. It will still cost a good amount of money. Plus you got that unexpected cost of parts/ labor in any project. The faster ya want to go the more $s it will run. My internals on my motor aren't going to fail, but i spent more to acheive that.

did you build your engine or is it a crate cuz $7,200 sounds kinda pricy?
