Most Phones don't have a good enough camera to scan bars or QRs. Thats just pants. But on another note. These QR codes can hold a huge amount of commands, Now to me I think this can open a new line of fraud on the contract phone. A code can actually send a command to your phone to send a text message or even automatically command your phone to make a phone call.
