Certifiedmoron, he is to blame for bipolar disease? An a child is to blame for leukemia too right? What cave were you educated in? You're a liar. The vast *majority" of homeless suffer from brain disease like this guy, bipolar, schizophrenia, et al. In these cases, any addiction is a coping mechanism for the brian disease. Over 1/4 of North American homeless are military vets suffering trauma and related addictions. Your family must be proud of you spewing your patently ludicrous filth.

HA... people saying get a job...get a job....this is sault ste marie...THERE IS NO JOBS....not even for the educated or ones with trades under their belts. that is why so many people are leaving the sault. i feel for this man...and any other homeless person. all it takes is one person to give this man a break and i am sitting here trying to figure out how i can help him get that break. if enough people do the same then some kind of oppurtunity can happen for this man

Take a second and think if there is anything you are addicted to. If your an honest person you will realize you have many addictions as well. Ever heard of compassion. I don't disagree that "some" homeless people are degenerate. But so are non homeless people like you! Smarten up, and think harder next time.

I challange anybody to go and try it, but take the time to get to know the whole story, and it may take more then a week to get their trust, but if they surender to you and tell you all of their story you just might find a VICTIM. a Victim of sex crimes who resorted to drugs, someone with an illness that the rest of the world has shut out. Because of ignorance like the people who condemn them with their harsh comments on here.. It's people like you that put them there in the first place!

Tommy you go out and try it for a week, right now! I chalange you! Get a sleeping bag and grab what you can carry and go sit on the streets in this weather, sleep there and do your crapp, shoot your mouth off their if you want to, but try it. Then ask some of them while your there why they are there, why they have problems, talk deep and go all the way back to their child hoods, find out what their parents were like to them and where they are now? what skills or opportunities they had to do bett

You know most homeless people are mentally ill. So you shouldn't just pull the "get a job" crap. Try talking to a homeless man one day instead of walking through the streets like an arrogant zombie, they're just good, troubled people for the most part. Sure they try to con you but thats all they know. Kindness goes a long way.
