Parody of Star Trek: First Contact, made in 1997.

The Korg send a ship back in time to 20th century Eart. The Kickstart, being the only functioning P-fleet ship around, has to follow.

The Korg plan to assassinate rockstar Jeffrey Cochbrane (Played by Rudi Airisto and a pair of sunglasses) and his band Dethdestro before their concert attracts the attention of Vulgars. This would stop humanity's first contact aliens and change the future.

  • Only problem is that when it sounds good on finnish.. hard to find nice funny and similar words for spoken jokes... if u dont speak finnish U miss lotsa good stuff =/

  • @douro20 I think Torssonen used Newtek Lightwave 3D for all with Adobe After effects and Premiere. There's a FAQ on the star wreck site.

  • @JOtruba Hi there. It is of course Finnish. Across the Gulf of Finland, is another nordic country Estonia. My parents were born there, but I was born in the US and was taught Estonian when very young. Finnish and Estonian langiages are 2 unique languages linguistically similar. Not even close to Russian, Polis or any other slavic language. I understand about 1/10th fairly well, but with a bit of thought and subtitles, get the jist of the conversation.

  • @douro20 yes it sounds very allien to me. i would be very interesting to know how in the heck was such unique language made in the first place.

  • What did you use for the CG animation?

  • @JOtruba

Finnish is such an odd language. It seems to have very little in common to other languages in that part of the world.

  • Millä ohjelmalla tää on tehty?

  • I just watched it and I couldn't stop laughing.
