This is not a Gerry Anderson series, but is fondly remembered by those who watched it at the time. It debuted in 1963, a few months after Fireball XL5, and ran for two series of 26 or 13x25min episodes from 05/07/63 to 11/06/64. The producer was Roberta Leigh, who had previously worked with Anderson. They were also made by rival station Associated Rediffusion, rather than the ATV that Anderson's series were produced by.
i have recently found this after joining a tv discussion online and saying as a young lad (age 8) i remembered a tv sci fi with strange music and a city scape with transport tubes and this is it! thanks for uploading as youv'e made a 56 year old boy very happy. the sound track was way ahead of its time and was by frederick charles judd.

I love the way the BT Tower turns up in model/prototype form (check the cityscape at 6.47); and thanx for the posting - I was 13 when this was broadcast, we'd only just got a telly, and I was enthralled - I thought this much more imaginative (even surreal) than XL5.

@RailmasterUK amazing to see this which was broadcast when i was 8! i only had a vivid memory of the opening titles and wierd music.i especially remembered the transport tubes and cars moving along them. i remember fireball XL5 much better so i suspect this wasnt on as consistently in manchester where i grew up.

A great series, sadly forgotten, but one of the coolest ships ever filmed.
