Alex Rudinger - Threat Signal - "Uncensored" (Instrumental)

'Uncensored' kicks off our new record. Now that the album is officially out I figured it might be a good time to upload a few more of the studio drum-videos.

This song is without a doubt the most 'death metal' on the record and is obviously one that I had a lot of input in (hence all the blast beats/double bass). Travis and I wrote this in the van using GuitarPro and were just aiming to write a fast, intense song. Initially, I think the other guys were skeptical on the tune because it's pretty different in comparison to the rest of the album. However, after recording it it grew to become one of everyones favorites - which I'm very happy about.

I decided to upload it with an Instrumental version of the song. The vocals on this tune are pretty slammin', but I figured the point of a drum video is the drums and leaving out the vocals might make things a bit more clear. What do you all think? As I upload the rest of them should I use Instrumental versions or the versions with vocals? Any input is welcome, as I could really go either way.

Additionally, you may notice the transition with the single snare hit at 1:13. The part after the guitar break was originally meant to just kick in. However, after tracking Zuess suggested adding in the snare during the measure before as a build up. Everyone was down with the idea so for the punch-in I just looked directly at the camera and hit the snare one time. I thought it might make for a good laugh, haha.

Tempo is 110 BPM
