Elvis was the greatest entertainer of all time. He was so talented he could be successful at anything he attempted to do. He had such a marvelous voice! He could sing practically anything and it sounded wonderful! He was truly one of a kind with his own unique costumes, style and charisma. He is and will always be THE KING!

@debbieb221 - That should tell you something right there... Elvis os pop bullshit and FZ is a musical genius... If your taste in music is limited to Casey Casum's AM Hit Singles of yesteryear then Elvis is your man, if you have a bit more culture and integrity FZ will satisfy... Actually, I did hear a nice Elvis song in an elevator the other day... Now go back to listening to Casey Casums top 100, I think they are going to play Blue Suede Shoes, again!

@dreamwad1 ur weird, everyone knows who elvis is NOONE knows who the hell frank zappa is get real!!!

@dreamwad1 And we are all very glad Elvis wasn't a zappa...no one would know who Elvis was if he was like that goofball zappa. Fortunately, entertainers are judged by good songs, how they sounded, number of chart toppers and record sales....not by how goofy they are.
Next time, say NO to crack before you start typing on YouTube..

Hahaha - That comment lasted a long time! Zappa was a true composer, He was loved in rock, jazz, classical, all music circles. Elvis was good at what he did but he was no Frank Zappa.. Zappa was a musical genius!! Elvis was a bluesy pop icon, like Justin Bieber... (ok, that was below the belt, so sorry) I really liked that Elvis meets Nixon movie though! If you didn't see it put it on your list!!
Could not get tickets for the Friday night show but caught sat afternoon and night plus the added show on Sunday. I wish they had recorded the shows he did on Long Island

@610elliott Those shows he dis in 1973 and 1975 in Long Island, were, for me fantastic. Just as good as those in MSG. I've uploaded Steamroller Blues from the 1973 gigs, in Long Island Uniondale. Just amazing. There are not odicial releases but there are some "import" cds with resonable audience recordings.
