Just a point, there's no use in using the spear overhand. It's way too uncontrollable like that. The only reason to have it there is when you're about to throw.

Wow this is really ignorant, even for tv. Non of the weapons look sharp or even fully functional, just blunt wall hangers. Arrows bounce off, yes because you have the guys using round tip arrow heads. The whole thing about the falx,axe,long swords etc being useless if you don't kill first hit is stupid as well, he's not taking into account the trauma a hard blow could deliver to a shield and potential of braking an arm. Watch deadliest warrior, its weapon tests are far more realistic.
