What's up ! People on here think I'm being crazy,but it's the truth.I wouldn't waste my time if it wasn't.They give me false charges saying that I said SRV sucked.I wouldn't deny the man like that . He was bad ass but where he fell short is his ability to create the groundbreaking material.If want to listen to Albert King Or Collins I'll listen to them .If want to listen to Jimi I'll listen to him.I just wanted to listen to more of SRV,not other people. You know I'm not with the fake stuff.lol

Hendrix music doesn't need to be kept alive by anyone or doesn't need a breath of fresh air . The books have been rewritten because of him.He added so much life in his music that he'll live forever. I'm not being a jerk about this . I'm just being real with everybody on here . This is not about what I believe . It's about what was and what still is . I don't dislike SRV. He's has a couple of cool songs.All I wanted to know was what did he do to change music and a few people lost their cool .

Yes I'm hearing and I've heard it . I'll say it again , this is most of Hendrix and some SRV. I'll say this to you like I stated in my previous post. Hendrix music does need to be taken to the "Next Level" or "Reincarnated". It's not about the people coming before him or being first . It's about what they before he came along . SRV maybe technically better than those guys ,but what he lacked was the orignality that these guy had to build the foundation the world know as the blues.

Yeah some of these poor guys are hurt by this simple truth. Why it hurts them I guess varies from simply not wanting to realize how little they know of original sources to the realization that they have been developing a "second hand style" .

This song is a cover, SRV is plenty original, he likes the song, so he reincarnated it.

Did you not just hear him play? He is amazing, to reach that skill on the guitar is probably one of the most difficult things in the world to do, Just cause people did it before him doesn't make them better for being born first.

I agree that there will always be blues. I was just at an open mic the other night and all they play is blues/funk/rock. Shits still alive and well.

You know shit about music, cause if you knew you would realise that there was blues long before Jimi came and blues is still living after Jimi's death. There will always be blues. Jimi was totally an amazing artist, but so was Stevie and the other ones that are mentioned on this video. Also, just cause you think he was a copycat and nothing special doesn't mean he was really that. People like B.B King and E.C said things about SRV the way how it really is, and they do know a lot more than you!
