There are many "10 Tribes" in the OT...It's isn't always the same 10 listed in a prophecy.

does the spaulding manuscript really have the same names as BofM characters?? Is there any way to prove this without there being any inkling of doubt or happenstance?

Astounding! the Spaulding manuscript predates the BOM & uses the same Names for the leading characters! But Modern LDS INC execs still rant that the BOM is valid. MORmONS are a laughing stock! The book of MORmON will only go on to fill the earth as a sham of epic embarrassment for MORmONS.

I personally don't know of any connection due to my own personal ignorance on the matter, however there is an excellent summation of BoM names and places that can actually be found in the contemporary world of J. Smith. Google the "Vernal Holley Maps" for more information. Another good book regarding this subject is "Who Wrote the Book of Mormon?" check that one out too.
