  • @damijoshua yes, the cd you received is the master. As long as you copyrighted your material, it belongs to you. You are the songwriter and the publisher. You need to also register with ASCAP. ASCAP is a performance rights organization. They collect and pay members royalties when your song is played on FM radio, cable etc. Subscribe to my channel.. I know alot

    i have just done a few songs in a recording studio where i paid for the session at the end of the session,i got a recordable cd with the tracks on it. is that cd the master tape? if not can i claim it off of the studio?can i go ahead with pursuing a career with the tracks and do shows and stuff please help.
