@Aporifos I agree completely! BBC Radio 6 plays them sometimes, but not many people here in the US even know who they are -- its sad. You usually have to special order their albums.

i came across this group on iTunes accidentally which is ironic bc i always say iTunes store is the epitome of crap music but i listened to a few songs and was very impressed so i ran to newbury comics and picked up this album. most underated band of all time maybe

As an American, I can say that I had never even heard of the Pretties until last year. They get absolutely no radio play over here, and good luck finding them in your music store, unless it run by some incredihip geeks. My god, how we have missed out over here! Parachute and S.F. Sorrow are now on my permanent list of desert island disks. As good as anything made by any of the other major Brit bands of the era.
