  • Erm the version you downloaded is for the Game Boy Advance - not the pocket pc. The one in the video is from here: pocketnes.retrogames.c0m

  • iv seen my friend play games like tomb raider on his xda2, just out of curiosity, do you think the xda orbiy would emu's pretty well? lol

  • Hmm maybe - although to get the smooth play you saw in the video the phone was running overclocked - 273mhz instead of the stock 201mhz. The xda orbit uses the same cpu as my xda, so if you could find an overclocking program for it - you could run the emulator.

  • what overclocking tool did you use? also, is the cpu speed faster on an orbit, or an xda 2?

  • Google for batterystatus today-plugin, thats the program that let me overclock - i dont know it is compatible with the orbit though. The XDA 2 is much faster - it has a 400mhz Intel Xscale cpu, the orbit has a 200mhz TI OMAP cpu.

  • i was originaly after an xda anyway, iv had a look at the other models and exec and orbit seem to take my fancy, but what would you recommend.

  • I'm using a T-Mobile MDA Vario II, with a custom version of WM6 loaded onto it - and I love it ;)

  • basicly a mobile pc

  • java games???? why? emulators ftw!

  • they dont

for me thats not bad since java games are usually not very good anyway and you can find better pocket pc games

  • I have an XDA 2 and use a program called Pocket Hack Master. Very useful overclocking tool. I have mine set to scale from and underclocked 200mhz (to save battery) up to 531mhz and the memory 30% faster, for videos and emulators. I can run FPSE (the playstation emu) quite well. Its nice playing Gran Turismo on a phone lol

  • i gettin a xda mini s in a cuple of weeks but i want to no if they play java games ??????

  • what files do you need to get this to work on the xda?

I downloaded the file 'PocketNES v9.98' and in the read me said I needed few more things for it to work any help? :)

  • ok, cheers, appreciate the help
