This is a sitar and tabla recital. The piece includes a song, a tarana, and finally a jhala.
Sitar: Dr. Debipriya Das
Tabla: Janan Sathiendran (student of Sukhdeep Singh Dhanjal)

  • The strokes in the sitar should get completed.

  • I feel some congruence in Manna Dey's 'Laaga chunari mein daag..' and this raaga..

it is so beautiful anyway... does it express pathose...?

  • 5*****

    nice muzic!

  • 5***** beautiful muzic!

  • Very Nice!! :D

  • Excellent!

  • My only gripe is that the performance should have been a LOT longer. Thirteen minutes is a very short time when it comes to a raga-recital . . .

  • Sindhu Bhairavi is such a beautiful raga : full of deep pathos and restrained and dignified melancholy. And this performance truly does justice to said raga. Excellent playing by both parties! (especially considering their very tender age!).
