Dominican Republic - Chocolate Friends 1 of 4

This clip is from a vacation in the Dominican Republic. The entertainment staff at the Coral Caribe resort are referred to as the "Chocolate Friends" - they not only put on multiple shows per day and night but also coordinate activities during the day for the resort guests. They were truly amazing. We always knew when the evening shows were starting due to the yells of "Wiggy Wiggy" - which loosely translated means "come on and shake your booty!". It was a trip I will always remember.

I was just informed that "wiggy wiggy" is DR slang or "spanglish" for "get up and dance" or "get up and wiggle your body". LOL! Thanks for the update!

Hi ,we went to this hotel about 3 years ago . We still talk about it as our best family holiday ever . Any way i'm sending a note to tell you that i have a copy of the music they played all day at the resort including the Chocolate friends song in English . It cost me $20 i paid to the Wiggy Wiggy guy . I'd be happy to send you a copy if you like !(free of course) . just let me know .

Hotel de folie, Really crazy trip there, fucking good man, and those people were not french but canadians, me, Im french, and I can tell there s not a lot of people from France there. It's a song they had made for the hotel chain, I believe. My sister and I got the Spanish version from one of the DJs there when he smuggled it onto a CD he burned for us ... even he didn't dare try to give us the English version, apparently they're not allowed to give it out or something. having said that, though, they also smuggled my sister one of the old "Chocolate Friends by Hilton" shirts over Christmas holidays this past year.
