Fuzz Face vs Fuzz Face

Mid-90s red Dunlop germanium Fuzz Face vs current blue Dunlop silicon Fuzz Face. Everyone craps all over the old red ones from the 90s, while the new Tripps-designed BC108 Fuzz Face is loved by (almost) all. How different do they sound from one another, really? Honestly, the old red Dunlop sounds REALLY good!
Gear used: Strat into Wobo looper with both Fuzz Faces, MJM Sixties Vibe, Catalinbread DLS, Boss DM-2, mid 60s Harmony H415 amp (2xEL84, 2x12 Jensens).

@dreekd80 - I'm using a MJM Sixties Vibe...I like it a *lot* more than any of the Fulltone vibes that I've tried.

@Danthehorse - the red (germanium) FF has less high end sizzle at full blast, and cleans up very gradually...the blue (silicon) FF goes from full fuzz to fully clean much faster. I like 'em both.

Not yet...but if you're looking for a univibe...the MJM is the best one I ever heard!
