@xslayer51 If you hate it, then it says more about you than the composer. Sorry, but my kid can play it easily, and if you have a problem, you need to go back to the drawing board and remember why you're playing it. Yeah, insult the composer, makes you look good in the light of things, duh.

Copland composed other beautiful pieces - listen to Jazzy (No. 3 from Three Moods) - I'm sure you'll love that! ;)

I know its probably just me but I cant stand 20th century music.
i know its nothing to do with the performer cos he's great but the song is just... UGLY
to me anyway
...

i have to play this piece for a test. i know this song is supposed to represent the chase between a cat and a mouse, but copland sounded like he was drunk or high when he composed this, and it's a sorry excuse for a piece. I HATE THIS!!!!

Wow, I think I truly hate this piece. Nothing to do with the performer, just the music in general sounds...bad. Then again, this is my first time hearing it, so it could very well have everything to do with the performer...
