@korn1536 Im pretty sure that to make any kind of decision about this kind of stuff even tho its a privately owned place there should be security policies about this kind of issue, the mall cops cant just decide to do what they wanna do because they are the "authority" in the mall since the mall is not their's...

Did this really happen?! They didn't show any actual footage, but from the way this guy was talking, it sounds like it actually happened, and that he was ticked off about it. It's like arresting a man for reading a bible in public (on gov property or not!).

I agree with this guy. You can't arrest someone for expressing themselves in public. That's why we have the constitution, people!

@korn1536 it's hard to decide which is better but i'm always in favor of freedom when it comes to your own property. the us law is, in my opinion, the better one because, like you said, if you're a known asshole or uncle tom no one's going to buy your shit anyway.

@UberTankred Yes, if you are the landowner. It is your property, just like your house (in fact a lot of businesses are run out of people's homes). You can ask people to leave your property if you do not want them there. Though a lot of people don't agree with this, and it may not be right, it's actually protecting the landowner. That's why I believe capitalism works...if you piss enough people off by asking them to leave, for example, they will go to your competitor and you will lose money.

@korn1536 i don't know the laws in the us but can you really ask someone to leave if he like in this case didn't do anything unlawful. in germany you can't ask a customer to leave. i regularly wore a burger-king crown while eating at mc donalds (like a million other kids) and of course the owner got angry but couldn't ask me and my friends to leave. if an owner could do that he could also kick out black people if he happens to be the grand wizard of heidelberg.

I completely agree it's b.s. but come on dude, you know better then this...a PRIVATELY owned mall can ask you to leave. The Constitution only protects you from government, not on private property. They ask ask you to leave and you have to or it's called trespassing. So now the officers are protecting the Rights of the landowner, or those who care for the land owner's property e.g. security guards. I know, nobody likes it, so just don't patron the mall and get over it.
