I hate it when people think they should only do "bad" movies and go up in arms when they riff "classics". Any movie can be riffed if it takes itself seriously, they even said that themselves.

The Rifftrax guys can't do a good riff of this movie because The Empire Strikes Back is just too good of a movie. I purchased this audio track and it just wasn't worth it.

@kensuke0 Star Wars only half takes itself seriously. Just saying, and I actually like it more for being intentionally campy in places. But people take it quite seriously, so it falls in that category.

@kensuke0 I don't think its that people that like the movies take exception to the movies being 'riffed'. I think its more to do with the people that like these films were hoping for the commentary to be side-splitting. I think that the jokes are either too outlandish or too obvious. I would like to hear something inbetween, with more consistency. I know it must be difficult . Its not like you can pause the film to insert your jokes, but that suggests that the format is also a problem
