@StopRequested I wanted to give you 10 thumbs up but I you tube would only allow me one!. I saw some videos of the Eastchester Yard and OMG!!...near brand new TMC RTS's from Jamaica Bus fleet going to the grave yard!! Not to mention MCI Classics that look as if they were given fresh MTA color paint jobs then all of a sudden thrown into the scrap pile!. I'm only 27 man but I think these are great driver training and emergency buses to keep on hand if we really need them!!

Ok. I see what you're sayin'. Unfortunately, though, there's no hope. The era of REAL buses is over for the most part. There aren't really many options now either with the ADA insisting that buses be compliant for the disabled, i.e., low floors and the EPA insisting on ever-greener tech. There is no future for hardcore buses anymore. Here in NYC, they're scrapping perfectly decent TMC RTS's for money. It's very sad actually.
