Not trying to be mean but why do the americans always take Amazing british television and turn it into one of their cheesy sticoms! honestly british writers and producers and actors work so hard to make amazing television and americans just steal it and turn it into a load of worthloss crap! some american t.v is real good but it pisses me of wen they steal our ideas and turn it into bullshit. grrr it makes me angry! ):(

..............I'm American and even though this looks like common television to me, this entire trailer just made me cringe. I just started watching the original Life on Mars and all I can say is WTF have they done to all of the amazing characters!? The entire reason I even considered the show in the first place is because of John Simm, who did not disappoint, nor did the rest of the cast.

Once more, another brilliant way of showing just how much better the British are at good entertainment.

This trailer is wrong, it's for the original unaired pilot with a different Gen and Annie. The real show and trailer has Harvey Keitel as Gene and I don't know the actresses name who olay's Annie. The trailer and show are dark like the original series. It's really not that bad, except for the SHIT ending. Even people here who haven't seen the UK version think so, I could have come up with better crap thain what they did

They may have the means to have THEIR opinions known, but it's THEIR opinions, not mine and certainly not all of the citizens of America. But you are wrong about something, the fact that there are remakes at all is saying that your shows ARE RECOGNIZED as the fantastic shows they are. Since they can't be aired here all that can be done is to remake them. But that's the thing about any kind

@TheBlackWhirlwind cont.. of remake tv show or movie, they can't please everyone. To some If the remakes or exactly like the originals then they are ripoffs. And to the others if they change the remakes then that's butchering the original material. It's an exact damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. Basically the creators of the originals are the ones who agree and sell the remakes good or bad. I'm American who loves many British shows, I wouldn't blame your country for a bad remake
