Isn't it a paradox that he says that pagans live lives of worry when they certainly don't have to worry about religion or pleasing God?

Andy, you mentioned "the worry about a person going to college." You should tell the story about how your father, Charles Stanley was walking across the street one day and encountered someone who knew somebody else who got him a scholarship to a university. Your father knew that was an intervention from God. I loved when he told that story. God Bless your family!

@RightRepublican WHere is the courageous. The Jews chose to burn and die rather than getting shot to be free! Read the book "Night", they were fighting hard to survive on whatever concetration camps have designed for them rather than dying to be free. Millions of people were araid of machine guns, but if all of them were couragous and warriors, each of them were afraid suffer to be free, If they were giong to suffer anyway. They didnt have faith! They blame God instead! and the outcome .........

God knew about the concentration camp victims but the fact that he knew did not help the Jews from being tortured. So why does god's knoweledge of my issues bring me comfort?

Because in the end despite what may come about in life God uses it all for good...but remember, the scriptures say, for the good of those who love Him. We may not see that good in this lifetime but our hope and focus should be on the fact that He will be with us always, even through suffering, which is something that is a consequence that we have to deal with because of the consequence of sin. Our greatest hope is living an eternity with God after everything comes to pass.
