This is a simple overview of the things we debated during the month of December in Public Forum debate.

1. Introduction and Resolution (topic)
2. Unique Cases
3. Standard Cases
4. Personal Cases
5. Resolution Review

I am not sure if anyone will be interested in this kind of video blog, but I decided to simply give it a try and talk about this debate topic one more time before we put away the information.

  • On the whle, I feel that this topic is overrated and ridiculous. Why aren't we debating real issues, like healthcare, foreign policy, poverty, marriage equality, etc.?

Ask your National Forensics League board of fuhrers.

As a judge in the circutit and fairly successful former debater in the West Iowa district where you compete, I have to say that you will likely do well at the NFL District Tournament.

However, the National Tournament, should you qualify, is during JEL Summit. :-(

  • On the affirmative side of this resolution, I'd argue the positive effects on corporate America due to the SNS. Also, corporations can implement preventative measures to ensure that their employees spend less time online i.e. limited access to internet time set up through the provider, restricted access to any websites outside the corporate frame, etc.

It's important to note that SNS can help corporate America--Job searches, connecting with new business partners, etc.

  • Jordan: My comment is going to be a live-blog of your vlog. :)

When you talk lay-judges, remember some people who watch this may not know what you mean. Explain it.

Good point about terrorism in today's culture.

"Hey kids, want some candy?" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHHAHA. Good point though.

Standard cases will be found in every topic in every round.

"A psychological study being done by psychologists." --REALLY?
