Voice of Russia, on 15.425 MHz around 0300 UTC on Columbus Day Oct 13, 2009.
This radio service used to be called Radio Moscow during the Cold War. This month is the 80th Anniversary; the service began in 1929.

Very good signal here in Fresno, CA. Antenna is a 102 foot wire known as a G5RV.

The CCRadio SW has excellent sound and is a great all-around radio.

  • Look up user tquchina on fleebay and he has the ssb adapter, not listed but write him by email or over on fleebay. Thanks for the vid on the radio and it sounds nice. If i get this radio, i'll get the adapter also.

  • I just looked up tquchina, and something is very odd on eBay with him. He is "working with eBay" and is "sorry for the inconvenience caused by this case." He has zero items for sale in his store. Very strange.

  • I had to order an antenna for the Grundig G5(DE1103) from him. I noticed he was getting some bad feedback. He emailed me about a week later as he had to go into the hospital with some health issues. He received some negative ones at this time. He emailed saying he was getting my antenna right out as i never left any feedback. You can email him at his name yahoo & i bet he is getting caught up. Then probably relist tthings.

  • I have been unsuccessful in finding any TG37's for sale. I keep looking, and emailing, but so far nada. They must've all been sold out.

  • @KYLake tquchina has the TG37's as of yesterday. I ordered one.

  • Nice sounding radio. Which one of yours do you find yourself using the most, ccradio sw, r75, Drake? Did you order your g5rv on Ebay? I was thinking of maybe getting the ccradio and the ssb adapter, to listen to hams on 75 meters.

  • I'm still looking for the SSB adaptor, the TG37. I have been unable to locate one. They seem to be made in batches. Good luck in finding one, and if you do, let me know where!

    Home made G5RV...very simple antenna.

The R75 is the best receiver I have. I spend most of the time listening to either the R-4B or R75.

I use CCRadioSW with a MFJ 1045C preselector.

  • My ccradio sw use to work great but now I don't get anything. I think there is something wrong with it. I don't know how to hook up a external antenna so I have no way of testing it.
