This trailer is better than the movie itself.

This isn't the teaser trailer I remember. I recall a very similar one except it didn't have the voice over or the intro and was just to some sort of electronic soundtrack.

What's odd is that the face of "Karen Ross" in this trailer (the eyes and nose) looks nothing like Laura Linney, yet you can see her in the footage

All those names at the beginning. I'm so glad that they make trailers better than that these days.

This is a teaser trailer. It was done before the movie was even finished. In fact, some of the footage of the stars running thru the jungle wasn't even in the movie, and was most likely done just for this trailer. They had to fill it out somehow, and using the people's names, especially considering they are all famous, is a good way to do that.

Well, the book was written in 1980, so that explains the low amount of memory.
