http://www.fusionfitnessstudio.net We've all seen them, right? The 'before & after' picture testimonials that the fitness industry loves to use in order to prove just how effective their exercise/diet program, set of DVD's or fitness equipment is at producing results.

Usually those transformations are SO amazing & dramatic that it motivates you to get in shape. You say to yourself "I want to lose 30lbs in 30 days too!" or "I want to get that sculpted body in 8 weeks too!"

Here's the kicker, then you say: "If that person did it...then I can too!"

Sounds logical, right? And you would be right IF those pictures were real.

Yes...most times those 'before & after pictures' you see are FAKE, giving you an unrealistic and false expectations of results. Which is why they always use the disclaimer of "Results are not typical" Why do you think they use that disclaimer? Because the overwhelming majority will NEVER experience those results! But they sure make you believe that you can.

Folks, it's a huge deception and bag of lies!

Not all companies are deceptive. There are some that use real pictures that depict real transformations that most people CAN achieve. Those companies are very few and far between though. The majority of these pictures that you typically see are baloney - plain and simple.

Watch as I explain the real truth and breakdown HOW these before & after pictures are done at times - the model using steroids during their 'program', pictures being reversed or "photoshopped"...it's crazy!

A little common sense will show how to distinguish the real pictures from the fake ones AND prevent you from falling for this deception and believing these lies ever again!

  • @boxingisart oh boy, genius at work here. You know, at first I was going to just delete your comment because of your use of profanity coupled with your obvious 'cheery' attitude. But then decided to just leave it up, for now at least, and let your own ignorance shine through for all the world to see. All hail boxingisart!

  • hi mate..i am not happy at all with deceptive advertising ..however it is a reality..to me (even your answer) is a deception because business is business..i am not in the fitness industry but but a business man and i am just interested in yoiur business approach..thats interested me more than the actual subject matter...

  • Thanks for your comments MrJtB. Yes, I agree - we DO have to make our products stand apart from the rest. No one is 100% honest all the time - anyone that IS will be a very disliked person! : ) And yes, marketing involves embellishment, but I believe it should be done with the customers best interests in mind - not by using deception & blatant lies to make your product/service stand out. If that prevents me from becoming a millionaire, so be it. Living with myself is more important to me.

  • i agree with everything you have said about false marketing its happens with every product thesedays..i agree full heartedly..however as a businessman myself i know that success doesnt come without the odd white lie..totally honestly will not make you rich in this world..you have to make your product stand and and even by saying yours is "the best" is a little lie itself isnt it..we all do it..i know alot about business..

  • Thanks for your comment MrJtB, but I am very proud to say that I don't deceive people with my marketing. Seems by your response that you don't deny the facts that I presented here - that you are 'ok' with this type of deceptive marketing. That's a shame. I agree that no one is 100% honest all the time - we all lie from time to time. However, I do NOT lie to get or keep customers. I am all about teaching realities, busting myths/lies. Sadly, my industry provides material to keep me VERY busy.

  • so what is your "deception" mate in your business cos every business pulls the wool over somebodies eyes?? i am just intrigued...no profit is ever made with pure honesty..you know that..

  • Yes. They did use real pics but the "legit" validity was still a bit in question as to whether the trainees used steroids, etc.. Keep in mind that before Bill Phillips started EAS (sold to another company) and Muscle Media magazine (sold to Weider (?) his FIRST book and regular newsletter was "The Underground Steroid Guidebook". Makes you wonder, huh? All I'm saying is there is A LOT more deception going on here than reality...beware.

  • E.a.s muscle media used to be legit with the before and after photos back in the beginning. Now though i don't know, i don't know if their still in publication.
