-CONTINUED- This is one of those songs that can't be screwed with if you're trying to nail it like Page. You either "get it" or you don't. There's no in between. I'm not talking about note for note but timing and intonation. Your playing is just a hair away! If you understood what I meant about "chasing the beat" then you'll get the soul of this piece. Everything else... you've got!

You're a damn good guitarist, maybe even great but your singing just doesn't cut it. This has nothing to do with you being a woman but your voice just doesn't have the balls for this song. I'm sure there are female singers who've got it. Your musicianship can stand up by itself. Find someone else to sing. A hint for this song. You should always be chasing the beat on this song. You're out ahead of the beat and it doesn't fit. You get ahead of yourself... otherwise you've got it!

Personalmente penso che senza la voce di Plant (che reputo inimitabile) questa canzone, ed allo stesso modo tutte le altre degli Zeppelin, non siano più le stesse pur senza nulla togliere alla bravura di Irene. Per il resto, (la vedo nella foto con una "Strat" in mano) se è lei a suonare la chitarra, c'è poco da dire: semplicemente fantastica.
