Abu lahab was given the title 'father of the flame' because he became angry quickly. This sura metaphorically says that those who cannot control their anger, despite how much wealth they have will be thrown in hell. Furthermore, the people that purposely make them mad, or 'feed the fire' will also go to hell.Therefore,abu lahab and his wife both go to hell and the wood she carries symbolically represents how she would increase his anger. in hell she will carry wood to increase his punishment

It refers to an uncle of Muhammad(pbuh),Abu Lahab.Abu Lahab hated and used to mock at the prophet and his religion.Many hadiths narrate that Abu Lahab said:even if what the prophet said was true,he would save himself from the Fire with his wealth and children.His wife Umm Jamil always supported her husband in his disbelief and obstinacy and used to place thorns in the path of the prophet.She will carry the firewood and throw it upon her husband to increase the torment.Ihope this is enough
