The International Aging Research Portfolio integrates many databases related to biomedical research. It currently contains the National Institutes of Health, the European Commission and other grants databases and the MEDLINE publications abstract database.
The projects in the database are classified using the automatic classification algorithms with elements of machine learning and it is possible to browse through a directory of aging projects. However, the system also provides advanced search functionality.
We expect that the advanced search will be one of the most popular tools of the system and we prepared a tutorial on how to use it.
In this test case a young scientist (real student at Moscow State University) is interested in finding out what projects are out there involving DNA damage and DNA repair. She presents the case and provides a screencast presentation.

This is the sexiest and most beautiful demonstration for a scientific resource I've seen so far. This young scientist most definitely has more than just a big brain ;-)
