Those Clorox wipes leave behind a toxic residue that the package says should be rinsed away with water before anything edible comes in contact with it. You may be killing germs by wiping the tray table, but unless you also rinse off the toxic residue, you're exchanging one problem for another.

You should also use clorox wipes to clean your arm rests, the lock to that tray table, the light button, the air vent, the window shade - anything you would touch. I've even cleaned the door handles to the bathrooms. Planes are gross.
