This video is the story of Meili's journey from China to the USA. She was a waiting child in China's Special Focus adoption program. The Special Focus program was started in 2010. It is for young children with complex medical needs or for children who are older and healthy. China allows adoptive parents extra time to prepare and send their dossier for Special Focus children. We are very grateful that China started the Special Focus program and allowed us to become Meili's parents.
