Dont get me wrong, there is definitely a place for Slum Dog and not just romanticized escapism. But it is good to see Indians like this. . . India has gotten so messed over the last 2 centuries. But to see these prettier girls gives India a more nostalgic place more akin to the days when Bombay was known as the "Jewel of Asia." We had folks like this in Kerala but it is so scant now. A lot of it has to do with ignorance and certain folks just not wanting anything other than a trophy.
