Bill Irwin tries to show 'open' and 'closed'.
Sesame Street is a production of Sesame Workshop, a nonprofit educational organization which also produces Pinky Dinky Doo, The Electric Company, and other programs for children around the world.
@valarierenee This was a great skit with Bill Irwin as Professor Television. In case you weren't sure, two of the other skits he was in as "Professor Television" was where he demonstrated the word "Danger" in one skit and in another skit, he demonstrated "near" and "far."

Thanks for this clip with Bill. I haven't seen it before. I love the time that he guest starred on the Cosby Show . Bill took all the kids to a fancy restaurant. They hated the gourmet burger so the waiter ran to a fast food joint and hooked it up. Then he took them to an old vaudeville show. At the end of the show all the kids were put in a trunk and they did that walking downstairs gag. Too funny.
