A new problem: Armstrong HST Valenta sounds, rear power car now either spools up when set to 40% then at ~1950-2000RPM, fades to nothing, or no sound at all, just default engine idle sound.
That and on some Class 158 sets, Central and Express it seems to be, the buzzer sound is continuous!!
Have you had any of these issues? I've e-mailed your man, but he's not got back to me :(.
Re-installed and re-downloaded all to no avail - do you have any tips/thoughts?
Cheers,

@DanielBrennan9 As I've said I have found many of the sound elements of various trains to be unsatisfactory. Who do you mean by my 'man'? I can only suggest you email the various content creators with your issues or post on the UKTrainsim or RailSimulator forums. I'm sorry but I don't think I can be of much help given the state of my own setup. Let me know if you find a way to resolve them :)

Do you find that the sounds of this unit with others, such as the Class 158/153 are temperamental? When I use the 153 for example, when braking, the engines in the trailing 170 units spool up to max. Also, do you find the 158 sounds generally poor too - such as when the front 1/2 units are at idle when entering a station, the rear unit is still at max?

@DanielBrennan9 Yes I find there are problems in RailWorks particularly with DMUs. I find the 166 performs in a similar manner to what you describe. Also very annoyingly rear HST powercars never work when I am driving them.
