Dark Tranquillity - Zero Distance Guitar/iPad Cover - LRRG [HD]

Oh, Dark Tranquillity, the moment the weather starts getting cold and I have to start throwing a jacket on in the morning, you start taking up a lot more space on my playlists.

It's not often I cover a bonus track (actually never before), but if the band put so much time and effort into making their music video for it, I can at least put a few hours into making mine. Also, a Tour Edition of their latest album really made me realize how much I want to see them live again.

My actual keyboard is on the other side of the country but I really wanted to play the piano melody, so enter the iPad (thank you Steve Jobs, RIP). I used the "Virtuoso" app, which I think is free, and pretty good for tapping out simple melodies. Sorry about the shaky camera, but it's hard to play with one hand and hold the camera steady with the other.

This was a most excellent cover, and I was kinda surprised to see that you even covered the keyboard parts (let alone that you did with an iPad). I would very much like to ask you (as the guy before me) for a tab, but I can understand the pressuring time table, so feel free to say no. Again, great job :)

@junin1al Ah, thank you very much. I try to make every cover a little different somehow (I have one I hope to finish soon that's just... weird). Anyway, about tabs... I have work and finals for the next week, but I'll be off between Christmas and New Year's. I see if I can write some tabs down during the break. @hatebreederdc Thanks! I didn't use tabs; just figured it out by ear. Not sure if there are any tabs out there yet since it was just released recently.
