lol he's great. My African Grey - Harley doesn't talk much when anyone is in the room unless my back is turned at the computer. Sometimes if asked he will whistle or play with his bell. But when we're in another room he talks, sings, whistles and makes all kind of weird noises. I leave the radio on when we are not home. I leave youtube with other Greys talking on sometimes. We also have a cockatiel and 2 parakeets.

WOW he can really talk, does he learn all that from watching tv or do you sit and teach him all the words. I have an African Grey but he can't say 1/2 of that. What's in the background trying to talk?

I've had him for 6 years. I always tell him everything I'm doing. I work all day and used to leave cartoons on for them, but I think they actually prefer music. That's Rudy, my other Grey in the background. He's saying he's gonna rock n' roll. Frank will talk up a storm when I'm not in the room. It's as if he practices everything he knows. I never know what today's topic is going to be. When I'm in the room, he asks for things, asks questions, and comments when necessary.
