Part one of Piers Corbyn - Weather Action Conference Held at Imperial College London on the 28th of October 2009 - How does it work ? How can we Use it !
@zardozcs The sun isn't powered by nuclear action. It's an electrically charged body in space, and it's size and the amount of charged particles flowing into and out of the sun, by consequence, produces the after effect of nuclear action.
It seems a very smart way to predict weather. Essentially it's a learning system which matches up what the weather did in the past given the solar and other inputs at the time with what the inputs are today. Until we have all the equations which govern the thermonuclear fire in the sun, it sounds like a good way to do it.
ETSubmariner: I disagree, hydrogen atoms in the suns core fuse together to form helium atoms plus excess heat. This is a nuclear reaction
