  • This was a great song and Seasons End a super album. Fish didn't leave because of anything to do with America bri, he was becomming a depressing bore, drinking too much and running out of ideas. The band wanted some vitalty and Fish couldn't come up with the goods; hardly surprising as all he sang about was sublinimal Scottish sentimental shite. Hogarth has written some amazing songs and Marillion still sell out in Europe and parts of the world. No everyone wants to listen to ruddy Kayleigh.

  • You are talking gibberish!!

  • Up the Irons from FL.

  • @bri1968 Rothery wanted to break America, which is why Fish left. Fish always said he'd leave if Marillion sold out and he was true to his word. This bland commercial and generic pop rock, which is indistinguishable from any number of M.O.R. 80's US rock bands, vindicates Fish completely. Rothery and Hogarth were so unsuccessful that they had to reinvent themselves as a sort of anodyne prog-rock outfit, which certainly wasn't Marillion as we knew it, very funny looking back.

  • steve loads better than fish

  • this song is a clever simple uptempo rocker not typical for an artsy-fartsy prog band but still enjoyable. I bet the singer has a lot of female fans

  • @MetalJassim: untypical, indeed! They sound like Foriegner... *good* Foriegner, I mean! :-)

  • So young and slender in the early 90s! ;-)

  • In my humble opinion one of the most interesting Marillion songs since it is so untypical for them. An awesome album, and one monster of a band!

  • Marillion is one of the best bands, really good indeed...
