From Mozart's first opera (he was 11) "Apollo et Hyacinthus", written for choirboys, the first aria of Hyacinthus, sung by a soloist of the Toelzer Knabenchor, Sébastien Pratschke.
Toelzer Knabenchor
Ensemble Baroque de Nice
Gerhard Schmidt-Gaden, conductor
This fairly unknown Tölzer boy was the big surprise of the TKC 1990 edition of "Apollo et Hyacinthus". Sébastien not only sang with a fantastic powerful and beautiful voice and a great dedication for the job, but he also a-c-t-e-d very lively on the scene.
Anyone who has a DVD of this 1990 Tölzer performance??
