All right, you get a bronze star for not harming her. But why chase her away ? She just wanted to make friends (partly, it's true, in the hope of your having something for her to eat).

Don't be misled by the propaganda of the ‘animal-control’ companies, who want you so to fear wildlife that you’ll happily part with a few bucks to get rid of it, and the authorities, who get a federal grant for licensing those that see the killing of wildlife as ‘sport’.
