@bigy29 SVLR, i also have pre-owned iphone and it is 1.1.2 but 1.1.3 now because I jailbreak it . I had problem of this emergency call screen but when I search about jailbreaking it FIXED. My suggestion: SEARCH fit to ur Os on how to jailbreak iPHONE. hopefully it will be fixed. Happy New year BTW.

@kenjinatsume06 Hey ive just bought a pre ownded iphone and a orange simcard so i put in the sim card (New) and im stuck on emergency screen thing :/ i need help im not sure what jailbreaking is but tell me if i need to please :/

you can buy an unactivated sim card for like 5 bucks on ebay, the phone doesnt detect that its unactivated, it just knows there is a sim card in it. so you be able to use all the functions of an iphone, just not the phone part, unless you download an app for that.

..OK ! Actually this thing also happened to my iphone when I tried to update it. So, I experimented my Emergency Screened Iphone... I tried to recovered it on itunes but still on the same screen...So, I decided to Jailbreak it even it is in Emergency Screen by using RedSnow and Luckily It worked out ..and Truely I got it fixed and useful already! So, Try also what i did because for me it worked! ...tnX
