I wonder why every Vette fan praises the ZR1. the C6 Z06 is BY FAR the better car - not only for the money but GENERALLY the better performance car

weight distribution: ZR1 = 51/49 Z06 = 50/50 (more traction). also the Z06 weighs 100+kg/220+lbs less! with that combination of less weight and better balance it ran a lap time on the nürburgring of 7:20 (505hp) to the ZR1s 7:19 (640+hp) [530hp GTR = 7:24 btw]. also, you can up to 730+hp out of a Z06 on pump gas.. without a super(- or turbo)charger!

@colledge9627 I didn't say an excuse or an accusation lol. The GT-R is a great car. The Corvette is as well. Dragtimesinfo vids aren't good to compare stock vs stock cars though because many of these are modified. There is also many vids of a ZR-1 beating a GT-R too. A lot of it has to do with driver skill, tires, track conditions, and so on that decides the winner between the two cars. They are both great pieces of engineering.

@HEMIH3AD ZR1 has better tires, better traction management, the bottom end of the engine is all forged (the LS7 i think its just the crank?), the cylinder walls are thicker then the LS7 so in theory you can put more boost into and get more power, and the ZR1 has a few small things here and there that make it a bit better (like higher top speed that kinda stuff)

@carfan2k2 who cares about 2hp. any engine varys in case of its actual max. power output anyways so don´t be fussy. even while driving the actual highest power output varys depending on your elevation so don´t be a paperwarrior
