ATT Motorola Backflip Video Test

Testing my Motorola Backflip's video recorder. As you can see, it's not the best when it comes to quality, but it is smooth (minus the shakiness; my hands were on the steering wheel, driving on a poorly constructed highway.)

Other observations:
-The video's file extension was .3GP.
-On the Backflip, you can hear the audio, but using windows media player to play the .3GP, you couldn't hear a thing.
-I have some videos that are as long as 5-10 minutes, yet they don't take up much space!

I found them to be the same actually. The only reason I hate the I-Phone is because of the people that have them. Most of them honestly believe that it's a lot better than any other phone on the Planet.

@thatsedrich Honestly, this isn't even close to the 3GS, listen to the audio. The iPhone's camera can pass for a flip cam.

@TimDeNomie I ment that generally, Iphone users give the phone too much credit than what it deserves. I made another video where I wasn't in the car, to test the sound out; check it out.

But to be fair, the Iphone 3GS does have a great quality camcorder.

to see what it's like to use android. I've had an iPhone every year since the beginning. Haha. I've read that the phone is sluggish. Does the amount of widgets you have effect that?

@TimDeNomie Actually with my experience, the amount of widgets does not affect the phone as a whole. In-fact, its kind of like having an icon: It's just sitting there not trying to be a bother. What does make the phone sluggish is opening multiple applications at the same time without properly closing them; some apps are not willing to fully turn-off! Fortunately, there are apps for the matter.

If I were you, I'd wait until they release the Android 2.1 on this phone, which comes out on the Q3.

Well, it's not an HD video camera, it's a phone camera. The quality is pretty amazing for a phone.

i have this phone and i noticed that the camcorder sucks in quality, but i was pleased with the smoothness. my friend has the iphone 4 and the camera is really jumpy and shaky but the picture is awesome

I have had iphone for 2 years now and my picutures are garbage compared to this backflip. I ordered one yesterday but my sister has one and i love it. android system is different and just tired of apple all together. Money hungry ................ So hope i like it.
