Funny how that video was recorded in November 2011 ;) See dates around 3:03 or 3:21 for example.

“Hello. We currently use a .NET Compact Framework 3.5 Windows Mobile application with Win Mobile devices, but our director has just purchased two new Win Phone 7.5 devices even before he knew they’d not run our current application. We’ve seen your Windows Mobile emulator for Windows Phone running on Youtube, and we’re interested in downloading it. We are also ready to contribute to its development.
Thanks”

That's because you live in the US or Europe, and you have plenty of GPS software and maps to choose from. But for instance, Garmin Mobile XT doesn't work under Android/WP7... so the rest of the users of the world still need to load their Garmin GPSs with either Windows Mobile 6.1 or 6.5. Ain't that a bitch? And that's just an example. There will allways be softs or games that can't run under Android or WP7, and the only way to load them is with a loader like DFT is developing.

If this is OS independent then I look forward to finally having an alternative to Android on new hardware. Failing that, at least all those WP7 devices will suck a little less. Also, don't forget that some people and especially enterprise users prefer to use a core Windows CE OS over the more bloated Windows Mobile. I assume this will also allow you to run a more generic Windows CE 5.0 (or earlier?) OS and maybe even provide a version for generic CE 6 devices.
