whats awesome about the 339's, is no other guitar sounds like em.... not a Lester, not a 335.... its got its own thing going on.

If anyone is interested, Epiphone is putting out 2 new 399 models this month.
One at $500 and another with more sophisticated electronics and a piezo pickup for a few hundred more.

mighty soulful random noodling ...i already bought a smaller hollow-body before gibson came out with the es-339...hamer newport...seth lover pick - ups and all that..your plucking /picking technique makes it hard to compare your tone to mine (you sound at least semi-pro)...again very nice guitar and love your touch and tone.
